My name is Dylan Jong and I am an assistant professor at the Centre for Research on Local Government Economics (COELO) and the University of Groningen, Faculty of Economics and Business, Department of Economics, Econometrics & Finance. 

My research focuses on the economics of local governments through topics such as decentralization, quality of government, and local public finance. 

I hold a BSc in International Business, MSc in International Economics & Business and PhD in Economic Geography from the University of Groningen, as well as a MEcon in World Economics from Fudan University, Shanghai.
