My name is Dylan Jong and I am an assistant professor at the Centre for Research on Local Government Economics (COELO) and the University of Groningen, Faculty of Economics and Business, Department of Economics, Econometrics & Finance. 

My research focuses on the economics of local governments through topics such as local public finance, decentralization, and quality of government. 

I hold a BSc in International Business, MSc in International Economics & Business, MEcon in World Economics from Fudan University, Shanghai, and PhD in Economic Geography from the University of Groningen.
