Dr. Talwinder Singh received his Integrated Master's in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, India, in 2016, and his PhD in Space Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH in 2020. Following this, he served as a postdoctoral fellow at UAH from 2020 to 2021 and as a research scientist from 2021 to 2024. Dr. Singh's research interests include space weather forecasting, with a focus on using magnetohydrodynamic simulations and machine learning. He is the lead developer of HelioCubed, a high performance, NASA/NSF-funded inner heliosphere MHD code. Additionally, Dr. Singh leads and participates in multiple NASA-funded projects aimed at the better characterization of coronal mass ejections and solar flares.
