I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory in the Plasma Physics and Applied Mathematics group. My research at the lab, under the mentorship of Ben Southworth, centers around multilevel and multi-fidelity machine learning methods for scientific applications. In 2025, I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where I worked under Dr. Ioannis Sgouralis. My interests lie at the intersection of modeling, statistical and machine learning, metric and differential geometry, numerical analysis and applied probability. I develop and study multilevel neural networks, advanced Markov chain Monte Carlo methods and optimal transport methods for robust data analysis. My most recent work is on the development and analysis of machine learning schemes based on nested hierarchies of neural networks, primarily for applications in science, national security and other Department of Energy mission pillars. It is important to me that I am able to collaborate with other researchers that share my desire to contribute to meaningful real-world applications. I have had the opportunity to work directly with biologists, physicists, chemists, animal scientists, data scientists, as well as other mathematicians in the pursuit of this goal.
