DMA Technology (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the DMA Technology mobile application and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our app.

Authentication information, such as login tokens, user IDs, and session data used to keep you signed in.
Device and push notification information, such as Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens and related notification identifiers.
User-generated content, such as social posts, comments, likes, profile content, and images you upload.
Image data, such as photos selected from your camera or gallery for features like social posting or fish disease detection.
App activity and usage information, such as notifications viewed, cached screens, and feature interactions.
Support and recovery information, such as email and phone number used for forgot-password and OTP verification.
Device and technical information, such as app version, general device behavior, and network-related data needed to operate the app.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
Create and manage your account.
Authenticate you and keep you signed in.
Provide app features, including notifications, social features, monitoring tools, and disease detection.
Process password recovery and account verification requests.
Send service-related notifications and updates.
Improve app performance, reliability, and user experience.
Cache data locally so the app can load faster and work better with limited connectivity.
Maintain security, prevent misuse, and troubleshoot problems.
3. Information Sharing
We share information only as needed to provide the app and its services.
With our backend servers that handle login, notifications, monitoring, and detection features.
With Firebase services used in the app, including Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Firebase Storage, and Firebase Cloud Messaging.
With service providers that help us host, store, or deliver app functionality.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data Storage and Retention
Authentication tokens and some app data are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences.
Cached profile data, notification data, and monitoring data may also be stored locally for faster access.
Social content and uploaded media may be stored in Firebase Firestore and Firebase Storage.
We keep information only as long as necessary to provide the app, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
5. Permissions We Use
Depending on the features you use, the app may request access to:
Camera
Photo library or gallery
Internet access
Push notifications
These permissions are used only for the relevant app features.
6. Social Feature
If you use the social feature, you may create content that can be visible to other authenticated users depending on how the feature is configured. You are responsible for the information and images you choose to share.
7. Fish Disease Detection
If you use the fish disease detection feature, the app may send the image you choose to our detection service for analysis and return the result to you. The uploaded image is used only to provide that service unless stated otherwise.
8. Push Notifications
If you enable notifications, we may collect and send a Firebase Cloud Messaging token to our servers so we can deliver alerts and updates to your device.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children’s Privacy
The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Your Choices
You may:
Stop using the app at any time.
Remove app data from your device through system settings.
Disable notifications in your device settings.
Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of certain information where applicable.
