Biography
Denis Rosário, CNPq Fellowship PQ2, received his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Institute for Higher Studies of the Amazon (2008). He received his master degree in Automation and systems at Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2010). His M.S thesis was developed in collaboration with the Polytechnic Institute of Porto – School of Engineering (ISEP/IPP) – Portugal, which included an exchange period in 2009 at ISEP/IPP. In 2014, he received a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering at the Federal University of Para with joint supervision undertaken by the Institute of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of University of Bern, Switzerland. Between 2012 and 2013, he spent 19 month at the Institute of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of University of Bern and developed part of his PhD project. He is now professor at the Department of Exact and Natural Sciences of the UFPA in Brazil. His publications include 4 book chapters, +30 articles, +70 full papers, and 6 short papers in national/international refereed conferences or workshops. He is involved in the organization of several conferences and workshops. His current research interests include the following topics: edge computing, FANET, SDN, and VANET.
