Natural Language Processing with Deep Learning

The course is focused on the study of how Deep learning techniques are applied to Natural Language Processing (NLP). The course reviews core tasks of NLP and it includes special focus on the following NLP applications: text summarization, dialog systems, machine translation. Additionally, the course focuses on recent advanced topics. Some of these topics includes bias in NLP referring to the fact that current NLP systems suffer from bias in gender, race and politic ideas, among others. The final project gives students additional information about a particular topic, and also aims to help boost their own skills in the development of applications or in research.
