DJ Thornton

I am a PhD candidate at the University of New South Wales. My advisors are Richard Holden and Gabriele Gratton.

Prior to my current studies I completed my undergraduate degrees in Pure Mathematics (with Honours) and Commerce also at the University of New South Wales. My 2019 honour thesis was on the theory of the giant component and information cascades in random graphs.

My research interests are primarily in Learning and Diffusion on Networks, Information Theory, and Narratives.

I also have an extensive teaching record, having lectured 11 courses and tutored 18 courses at UNSW since 2018. See CV for a full list.
