DJ Radio is a free internet-radio player with a built-in DJ booth: effect pads, auto-mixing, crossfades, song ID, and CarPlay. There are no accounts, no ads, and no in-app purchases — every feature is free.
Yes. The entire DJ toolkit is free, with no purchases, subscriptions, or ads.
Station streams are run by third-party broadcasters, so they can be slow, change address, or go offline without notice. Try another station — if others play fine, the problem is with that broadcaster's server. Streaming also needs a stable internet connection; on weak cellular the player may pause to rebuffer.
Song ID matches the audio currently streaming, so it needs the station to be playing and an internet connection. Some tracks (talk radio, very new releases, live mixes) simply aren't in the recognition catalog. It does not use your microphone — it analyzes the stream you're already hearing.
Open the ⋯ menu → Select Mix Stations and turn on Show DJ Effects. Note the effect pads, auto-mix, and drama builds run on the app's own audio engine, so they aren't available for stations delivered as HLS streams (you'll see a short note in their place).
Tap the ⋯ menu → Select Mix Stations to open Mix Settings. There you can enable Auto Mix (hands-off, beat-synced effects), Drama builds, Skip talk, and pick which stations the mix blends between. Tap the checkmark to finish.
Tap the star on any station to favorite it. You can reorder favorites and group them into categories from the Favorites section.
Yes. Connect to a CarPlay-equipped vehicle and DJ Radio appears alongside your other audio apps so you can browse and play your stations from the car display.
Use the in-app online search to look up stations from the public radio-browser community database, then favorite the ones you like.

DJ Radio is a tuner: it does not host, own, or rebroadcast any audio, and all station names and trademarks belong to their owners. Rights holders who want a station removed can email us at the address below.
