DishBuddy respects your privacy and is committed to being transparent about how the app works. DishBuddy accesses certain features on your device only to provide the functionality you request, and we do not collect or share personal data.
When you choose to save meal plans or events to your calendar, DishBuddy requires access to your device’s calendar. This access is only used to create and manage events that you specifically add through the app. DishBuddy does not collect, store, or share your calendar data.
DishBuddy also allows you to search for restaurant locations. These searches use map data, but the app does not collect, store, or share your search queries. DishBuddy cannot access your current device location and does not track your movements.
All of the lists, items, and preferences you create in DishBuddy are stored locally on your device. We do not operate external servers, and we cannot access your personal data. DishBuddy does not collect names, emails, contacts, or other personal information, and no data is ever shared with third parties.
DishBuddy is designed for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If this policy is updated in the future, changes will be posted within the app or on our support page.
