This symposium aims to delve into the intriguing realm of molecular substances, with a particular focus on structural dispersion in chemistry.
The structural dispersion has remained a challenge, particularly in oligomeric/polymeric compounds with large molecular weights. Recent discoveries tackle this issue in a variety of ways to circumvent or mitigate, or even utilize such structural dispersion. By highlighting the cutting-edge research, we aim to unravel the potential of discrete oligomers/polymers/assemblies in various fields. The symposium will also cover advanced separation and recognition technologies that enable precise sorting and isolation of targeted molecules from complex mixtures.
Topics of interest include:
Novel strategies for the precise structure control of molecules, nanoparticles, polymers, and assemblies.
Advanced characterization techniques to elucidate structural nuances.
Theoretical insights into overcoming structural dispersion barriers.
Molecular recognition to separate and purify complex mixtures.
Synthesis of defined-sequence polymers and monomer sequencing techniques.
Controlling the nature of structure distribution for beneficial use.
