Welcome!
I am an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow (IPDF) in the Department of Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay). My postdoctoral research focuses on parametric competing risks models with missing failure types under current status data.
I completed my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai. My doctoral research centred on Bayesian statistical methods for ecological modelling — spanning MCMC computation, Approximate Bayesian Computation (ABC), fractional-order ODE systems, and sensitivity analysis applied to population dynamics and eco-epidemiological data. I was supported by the DST-INSPIRE Fellowship (IF190606) during my doctoral studies.
I am also working on Bayesian inference for proportions, specifically on prior specification for the difference of two proportions.
