I illustrated phrases that contain two adjectives. Mommy found these drawings very cute (especially the fat, lazy cat)!
This is one of the first diagramming exercises that I did. I enjoyed this exercise!
This is my first time doing a written narration of a story about the Mongols that Mommy read to me. I was really amazed by how the Mongols are able to survive in the wild.
I learned about subject and predicate with helping verbs and I learned how to diagram them.
We read the poem "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud". I thought that the one speaking was a cloud but it was really a person who felt that he was like a cloud.
We had an exercise in identifying the tenses of the verbs in sentences.
I learned that pronouns and verbs help each other in a sentence. I also learned about helping verbs.
The author of the poem "The Sunshine" loves the sunshine because it makes insects shine, gives warmth to us, and it makes us see things.
I was able to diagram very long sentences without a guide. Mommy dictated the sentences to me while I wrote them down. Afterwhich, I drew the diagrams and filled them with appropriate words.
I memorized the poem "Solitude" by A.A. Milne. I thought that I would also love to have a place of my own similar to what was described in this poem.
