I learned how to interpret bar graphs and use them to answer problems. I think I had a good hypothesis why July had the most number of shoppers. :-)
I learned about equivalent fractions through a paper-folding exercise.
I wanted to learn how to draw robots so I started searching for video tutorials on how to draw. I learned that I needed to start first with drawing 3-dimensional shapes so I practiced.
I learned how to find equivalent fractions using a number line. I also learned how to divide a number line into many equal parts.
This is how to add fractions.
I was able to solve time and duration problems mentally and Mommy thought that I did good.
I learned about right, obtuse, and acute angles.
I learned how to name the right, obtuse, and acute angles of a shape.
I observed that the number of sides and angles of a shape seem to be following a pattern or relationship. At first, I couldn't understand what Mommy meant when she said I had to make a conclusion about my observation. In the end, I finally got it, whew! I'm glad that I was not easily frustrated and did not give up.
I was able to solve the challenge of making 4 pairs of perpendicular lines and 4 pairs of parallel lines using only 5 sticks! At first, I found it difficult to solve but I persevered and did not stop.
