I had challenging questions on the Genesis 3 passage. We had to ask Daddy about it.
This is what I learned about God from Genesis 4. At first, I struggled with God favoring Abel's offering more than Cain's. But I soon understood that God looks at the heart of people and judges fairly.
I learned about the life of Peter Lutkin, the composer behind the melody of the hymn, The Lord Bless You and Keep You.
This is what I learned from Genesis 5.
This is what I remembered from Genesis 6.
I learned from Genesis 7 that God was the one who shut the door of the ark.
I memorized 2 Corinthians 5:21!
I learned from Genesis 12 how God was merciful to Abram even when he did not trust Him and sinned against Him by lying about his wife.
It was my turn to do the call to worship in our church. For the first time, I was able to do it on my own from reading the passage for the preaching that day, reflecting on it, looking for an appropriate passage for our call to worship, and expressing why we should worship God that day. Praise God for the wisdom He has given me!
I have been doing my own devotion every afternoon. I might have missed some days but praise God for how He is teaching me about Himself through His Word and this devotional book that was given to me by Tita Sierra.
