Araling Panlipunan

I learned about how the Assyrians returned into power through their cruel king, Ashurbanipal.

We read King Alfred and the Cakes and I thought that King Alfred was a strong, bold, and brave man.

I learned about the greatness of Ashurbanipal and how he was known as the first librarian of the world!

I love map drills! This is my map work on the Phoenician empire. I also found the Phoenician empire in our world map as we now know. It was fun!

I learned about the different kinds of houses that our Negrito, Malay, and Indonesian ancestors built in our land.

I learned that our world is like a ball. Moving farther away from your starting point will bring you back to your starting point.

Gustung-gusto ko talaga ang pag-aaral namin tungkol sa mga mapa. Mabilis kong natutunan kung paano magbasa ng mapa at natutuwa ako sa mga pagsasanay na ginagawa namin tungkol sa mga mapa. Dito ay inaalam namin ni Mommy kung anu-anong anyong tubig at lupa ang nakasaad sa mapa ng Pilipinas na nasa aklat.

Natutunan ko ang pagtukoy sa tiyak na lokasyon ng mga bansa. 

Natutunan ko kung paano gumamit ng iskala sa mapa.

I learned how Babylon and Persia became united because of the marriage of Nebuchadnezzar and the daughter of the king of Persia. I also learned about the beautiful story behind the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, which is one of the wonders of the ancient world.

Naaliw ako sa pagtukoy ng tiyak na lokasyon ng mga bansang ibinigay sa akin ni Mommy. Isa ito sa mga paborito kong gawain sa Araling Panlipunan!

For the UN celebration, our Coop decided to present the song How Great Is Our God in different languages. I learned how to sing it in the Hebrew language. I really enjoyed learning Hebrew, practicing and singing with our Coop friends!
