Dinh C. Nguyen

Welcome to my personal website! 

I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Alabama in Huntsville, USA. I am currently leading the Networking, Intelligence, and Security (NIS) group, focusing on the intersection of secure wireless networking and distributed learning. 

Previously, I worked as a postdoctoral associate at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Purdue University, USA from January 2022 to April 2023. I received the Ph.D. degree (shortlisted for the best thesis award) in computer science at Deakin University, Australia in January 2022. I was also a recipient of the prestigious Data61 PhD scholarship, CSIRO, Australia in 2018. I am a IEEE member. 


Research interests: Federated Learning, Wireless Satellite Networks, Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT).
