My name is Jiaojing Ding. I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Tampa’s Sykes College of Business. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Georgia State University. Previously, I served as an Assistant Professor of Practice at Fairfield University and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Georgia. I am also a Scholar with the Climate Social Science Network (CSSN) at Brown University.

As an applied microeconomist, my research lies at the intersection of Environmental and Energy Economics, Labor Economics, and Health Economics. My work investigates how public policies affect pollution, housing markets, labor market outcomes, and national security. Using quasi-experimental methods, I examine how environmental and energy transitions shape economic and social well-being.
