My name is Jiaojing Ding. I am an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Economics at the Charles F. Dolan School of Business, Fairfield University, and will join University of Tampa as an Assistant Professor of Economics in Fall 2026. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Georgia State University in 2024 and previously served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Georgia. I am also a Scholar with the Climate Social Science Network (CSSN) at Brown University.

As an applied microeconomist, my research lies at the intersection of Environmental and Energy Economics, Labor Economics, and Health Economics. My work investigates how public policies affect pollution, housing markets, labor market outcomes, and national security. Using quasi-experimental methods, I examine how environmental and energy transitions shape economic and social well-being.
