A mysterious figure is lurking around Flo's Diner, removing the word "Fat" from the "Fat-Free Breakfast" banner on the roof using white paint, which makes Flo's Diner look like it's having a free breakfast promo. The next day, Flo and Chef Cookie are surprised by the sign, unfortunately it is too late. As soon as they open the diner, customers start running into and overloading the diner and, as a result, Flo's Diner explodes.

Flo later encounters Mr. Big, who offers to buy her diner. Flo refuses, but Mr. Big blackmails by saying that if the lot is unused in one week, he will buy the diner. One of Flo's customers, Hal the Hungryman, doesn't want to let Mr. Big buy Flo's Diner, and has agreed to rebuild the diner. Flo and Cookie proceed to get a hold of Hal's employees who have been scattered across Dinertown (Avenue Flo, Squid Row, Thyme Square, and Dinertown University).

But then, Flo and Cookie receive the news that Mr. Big has forwarded the deadline. With help from her friends, Flo manages to rebuild the diner just before the deadline. Frustrated at the diner having been finished, Mr. Big challenges Flo by putting signs all over the streets so that the diner will be overloaded once more, but he eventually fails.

Players can also customize the diner and the venues, the venues can be customized at several levels, there are four different items to be customized, after choosing which item to be customized, players can choose one of several different venue upgrades, in the end all four of customizer options will be finished and the player is awarded with a venue medal. The Diner can also be customized, unlike venue customizer, the Diner customizer objects will unlock one by one by finishing levels.

Mr. Big arrives at the remains of the destroyed diner and declares that he will buy the land out if Flo can't rebuild her diner within a week. Hal the Hungry Man then promises Flo he will help to rebuild the diner if she can find his handymen, so Flo and Cookie set off...

Starting at Avenue Flo, Flo and Cookie serve many customers & townies to fund Hal's rebuilding of the diner, after successfully conquering weather mishaps and a broken hydrant, Flo and Cookie get the word from Hal that more of his handymen are in Squid Row's Carnival.

Everyone at DinerTown is at the diner to celebrate the grand reopening but Mr. Big is outraged they managed to do it quickly and puts his backup plan into motion, pressing a switch, Mr. Big springs large advertisements for Flo's Diner, attempting to rope customers to destroy the diner again.

Flo and Cookie's 3rd stop brings them to Thyme Square at booming bright light hours of the night. The upgrades here center around making the place more flashy, and the hazard here is malfunctioning wire boxes. Around the 4 corners of the area boxes will go off, if Flo doesn't fix them in time customers will leave.

Flo and Cookie have finally made it, back to their beloved home, as always the final restaurant is the hardest and Flo's Diner lives up to it. The appearance of the diner is based on how you customize it, there are no upgrade except for equipment upgrades and the hazard for Flo's Diner is all the hazards together.

Everywhere I look, I can only see the current iOS/Android Diner Dash version, which I find ugly. It's not the same thing, it has that same pay-to-win mechanics so many mobile games have now. I want to play those original, classic Diner Dash games. Also, with the huge success of Diner Dash in the 2000s, PlayFirst made other dash games as well like Car Dash, Wedding Dash, Cooking Dash... where are those?

If you keep your customers happy, you will earn more money which you can spend on upgrades for your diner.

In DINER DASH 5: BOOM!, plucky eatery owner Flo gets sabotaged by a greedy businessman who wants to swipe up her land. He takes the word \"Fat\" off of her \"Fat Free Breakfast\" sign, and the rush of customers proves too much for her tiny edifice, which bursts from overcrowding. Now Flo needs to work up the money to have her diner rebuilt before the villain can take over her lot (The legalities here are a little iffy, but that's not too important). With no restaurant to serve her food in, Flo sets up outdoor tables to create an impromptu street cafe.

Diner Dash 5: Boom! is a gold mine for fans of time management games. There are so many nice details that make the gameplay far more interesting than simply moving around a little waitress and making her bring food to tables. For one thing, you need to be careful about where you seat different customers -- groups of lawyers who sit near each other are prone to argue, bookworms hate being next to noisy tables, dating couples want privacy, guys with cell phones will annoy almost anyone they're next to, etc. Some customers, like businesswomen, are in a rush and need to be prioritzed, while seniors are more patient and take their time. As the game takes place outdoors, you also have to contend with nature -- rain, wind, leaves falling into people's food, and even earthquakes (which do no more than shake the tables). Another nice bonus allows you to customize Flo's new diner as it is built, so that the last level, played inside the new eatery, will have a unique setting of your design. A worthy new installment to one of the most popular casual gaming franchises.

Seating can sometimes get a bit cramped, which forces Flo to improvise unconventional dining tables which aren't always convenient. You'll also get to rebuild Flo's diner from the ground up, picking the styles you want for each section, and make improvements to the neighbourhood. Which, if you're like me, will consist entirely of plastering down pink hearts at every opportunity. (I wonder why the city planning department doesn't return my calls?)

Analysis: I admit, I was sort of hoping for a story about how the restaurant would explode if the number of customers served went under sixty, but I suppose BOOM's tale of a restaurant becoming so stuffed with eager patrons that it literally blows up is okay too. By now, the series has figured out a near-perfect formula, and Diner Dash 5: BOOM is the perfect mix of fun and challenging. The difficulty level is more like a difficulty wave, gently cresting and falling with each new area. The game does occasionally feel like it's forcing the "design your own diner" concept a bit when your sole interaction in some building sections is literally just to click "Build It!" when there are no choices to make at all.

I love diner dash games and i can't wait to get this one too. but the same thing can be said for tower defense games, first person shooters, halo, warfare, etc etc etc. People gravitate toward the type of game they like most and time management games like diner dash really make me happy. ff782bc1db
