This privacy policy applies to the mobile app "Dilution Calculator: Ratio"
(shown in the app as "Dilution Calculator") on Android and iOS:

The app is developed and operated by Heekyung Moon (Google Play developer name:
janey-moon), referred to as "we" or "us".

OVERVIEW
Dilution Calculator works out how much concentrate and water to mix for a
ratio (1:X), a percentage or mL per litre, including topping up a tank that
already holds some mix. The calculations run on your device. The app does not
require an account, and we do not sell personal data.
LOCAL DATA
The following are stored in the app's storage on your device:
- Current calculation: the mode, ratio or strength, use type (for example
garden or cleaning), tank, concentrate and leftover amounts, unit and
measuring step you last entered, so the Mix screen reopens as you left it.
- Saved recipes: the name you give each one (up to 40 characters), use type,
mode, strength, basis, optional target volume and unit, measuring step and
the time it was last updated.
- Batch log (the newest 300 batches are kept): for each "Mixed it" entry, the
time and your device's time-zone offset, the recipe name if one was loaded,
the recipe settings and the amounts of concentrate, water, leftover mix and
finished mix.
- A one-line summary of your last saved recipe or logged batch.
- App state such as cached ad and "more apps" configuration.
If saved data cannot be read, a copy is kept on the device before anything
replaces it, so it is not silently lost. Data from an earlier version of the
app may stay in storage after it has been moved to the current format.
Your recipes and batch log are not uploaded to our servers. If you tap
"Share CSV" on the Log screen, your batch log as CSV text is passed to the
app you choose in the system share sheet.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
- Google Firebase Analytics: app usage events (for example app launch, opening
the menu or a tab, opening More Apps or the review option, sharing the log
with its number of rows, and logging a batch with only its direction and
whether exact or rounded amounts were used), the iOS tracking choice, ad
revenue events, device and technical information and an app-instance
identifier, used to understand how the app is used. Recipe names, ratios,
volumes and the contents of your batch log are not sent as event data.
- Google Firebase Crashlytics: crash reports and technical diagnostics, used to
keep the app stable.
- Google Cloud Firestore: the app downloads app configuration (such as ad
settings and a list of our other apps). It does not upload your data.
- Google AdMob: banner, interstitial, app-open and native ads. AdMob may
process the advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or iOS IDFA, where
permitted), device and network information, ad interaction data and IP
address (which may be used to estimate approximate location, even though the
app has no location permission), plus SDK diagnostics described in Google's
disclosures, to show and measure ads, prevent fraud and diagnose delivery.
No ad mediation partners other than Google are included in the app.
Apart from sharing you start yourself and device backups, the app sends data
automatically only to the services above, for the purposes above. We use
these services under Google's applicable terms, and we ensure that third-party
service providers with whom we share user data provide the same or equal
protection of that data as stated in this policy. See:

ADS CONSENT & TRACKING
Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), the app first uses Google's
User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for your consent. In those regions,
personalized ads stay off unless your choice allows them. If the consent step
cannot be completed, the app may still show non-personalized ads.
On iOS, only after that step and only when personalized ads are allowed, the
app requests App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission. If tracking is not
allowed, the IDFA is not available to the app or Google, and ads are
requested as non-personalized.
Where Google requires it, the app menu shows "Privacy choices", which reopens
the consent message so you can change your choice.
Analytics and crash reporting are not controlled by these ad choices.
PERMISSIONS
The app does not ask for location, camera, microphone, contacts, photo
library or notification permissions. It uses internet access for ads,
analytics and app configuration, and vibration for button feedback. Other
Android manifest entries (such as the advertising ID and storage entries
limited to older Android versions) come from the frameworks and Google SDKs
the app uses; the app does not use them to read your files or photos.
DATA RETENTION & DELETION
- Local data: you can delete saved recipes on the Recipes screen and batches
on the Log screen. The newest 300 batches are kept; older ones are removed.
Uninstalling the app removes its local data from this device; existing
device or cloud backups are handled separately (see below).
- Data processed by Google Firebase and AdMob is kept according to those
services' retention settings and policies. Uninstalling the app does not
delete data that was already sent to them.
- To request deletion of data associated with your use of the app, email us
at the address below. Because we do not ask for your name, email or account,
we may only be able to act on data we can link to you from the information
you provide, and we will explain any limits in our reply.
STORAGE & CONTROL
- Android: if device backup is enabled, app data may be included in your
Google backup and restored on reinstall.
- iOS: app data may be included in your iCloud or device backups according to
your device settings.
- Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Settings > Google
(or Privacy) > Ads.
- iOS: you can change tracking permission in Settings > Privacy & Security >
Tracking.
SECURITY
Your recipes and batch log are kept in the app's private storage area, which
the operating system protects from other apps; they are not separately
encrypted by the app, so protect your device with a passcode. Data sent to
Google Firebase and AdMob is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS)
connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
The app is a calculator, not safety or usage advice. The reference ratios in
the app are calculation examples, not recommendations. Always follow the
dilution and safety instructions on your product label.
CHILDREN
This app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect
personal information from children.
CHANGES
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above will change
accordingly.
