Dr. Dilshad Ahmad Khan is a regular faculty of N.I.T Hamirpur. He has joined N.I.T Hamirpur as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering on 21/12/2018. Before joining N.I.T. Hamirpur Dr. Khan has served in Aligarh Muslim University in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering & Technology. Dr. Khan received his Doctoral degree (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi with the specialization in Manufacturing. For his research work he has filed six Indian Patents. He has received six awards (International and National) including Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award, organized by Rashtrapati Bhawan (President House), New Delhi. He is continuously engaged in teaching and research. He has around 11 international journal papers and 18 international conference publications credited on this name. He is registered as Chartered Engineer by the Engineering Council, Institutions of Mechanical Engineers, London (U.K.). The field of his research interests are Advanced Machining, Nano-finishing, Magneto-rheological finishing and Industrial Automation.
