On June 13, 2025, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Angeles City conducted Ronda Ready: Strengthening Tanod Capacities for a Peaceful and Developed Barangay at the Barangay Sapangbato Hall.

During the activity, LGOO III Elridge D. Barbaso discussed with the barangay tanods the key sections and guidelines of DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2024-086, also known as the Omnibus Policy on the Administration and Strengthening Capacities of Barangay Tanods as Agents of Peace and Development.

As a result of the orientation, barangay tanods gained a clearer understanding of their roles, legal mandates, and operational standards, leading to more organized patrol routines and improved coordination in maintaining peace and order within the community.
