SAPALIBUTAD

Barangay Sapalibutad name originates from the Kapampangan language and translates to “small stream.” The barangay was named after a modest waterway that flows between Sitio Centro and Sitio Canatba. This stream has historically served as a vital resource for residents, providing clean water for daily bathing and laundry. 

Barangay Sapalibutad is one of the 33 barangays of Angeles City and has experienced notable growth in recent years, particularly in the field of real estate development. Historically known as one of the city’s agricultural hubs, Barangay Sapalibutad has seen a steady transformation into a more urbanized and residential community.
