Driving Better Infrastructure: DILG-AC Coaches CITY Engineers on Mastering RBIS

DILG Angeles City conducted a Road and Bridge Inventory System (RBIS) coaching session on February 19, 2025, at the City Engineer’s Office, City Hall Building, Angeles City. The activity aimed to strengthen the city’s capacity in monitoring and managing local infrastructure.

Mr. Jade Vermon H. Baldovino, Information System Analyst II from the DILG Regional Office, served as the resource person, guiding participants on the efficient use of RBIS for data encoding, updating, and generating reports on road and bridge conditions.

As a result of the session, participants gained enhanced technical skills and a deeper appreciation for data-driven infrastructure planning. This led to improved accuracy in reporting, better coordination among engineering personnel, and stronger support for local infrastructure development and maintenance efforts.
