Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Kyung Hee University, South Korea, I bring extensive industrial expertise in the production of medical imaging equipment, specifically Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA).
Previously, I served as a research associate in the Health Life Horizon (HLH) project at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS), National University of Science & Technology (NUST), Pakistan, from April 2010 to August 2011. My research interests cover core and applied research in AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, with a focus on medical imaging, image processing, computer vision, computer-aided diagnosis, natural language processing, and biomedical informatics. Engaging in various research and development projects has resulted in publications in reputable journals.
Enhancing my research profile, I bring valuable industry experience as a Research and Development Engineer at YOZMA BMTech CO., LTD, Republic of Korea, spanning from 2013 to 2019. This practical background enriches my insights and expertise, bridging the gap between academic research and real-world applications.
Previously, I served as a research fellow at the Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS), a prestigious research institute affiliated with KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) from September 2019 to August 2022. This experience allowed me to contribute to cutting-edge research and collaborate with renowned experts in my field.
Currently, I am serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of AI Data Science at Sejong University, Seoul, South Korea, since September 2022. Continuing my academic journey, I am actively contributing to the fields of AI data science and healthcare domains. With a comprehensive background, I stand as a valuable asset in academia and research, furthering advancements in these critical areas.
