Exams! Exams! Exams! This is what is going through our brains right now, especially for the people in 10th and 12th grade. An average person has to write 4 sets of exams in an academic year, but because of the disdain CBSE has towards us, there are 2 exceptional grades which have to write 7 sets of exams.
The final set of exams we must write in these years basically decides our future. That makes it so tough for us to prepare for these exams (even though everyone says the exams will be easy). These exams are called Board Exams, which happen at the end of 10th grade and 12th grade.
Now comes the main question; how to prepare for these exams? Many people suggest to use the infamous RD Sharma for Math, All in One for Science, or Xam Idea for Social Studies. But in reality, these extra guide books don't matter that much. All we need is the latest NCERT textbook and the latest exemplar. The relentless pressure to practice and do guidebooks is so intense that it can make us feel like we're selling our souls just to keep up.
After consulting toppers and many different teachers, what I have come to realize is that all these extra fancy-schmancy things are not even required. Our focus should be on the NCERT textbook, our class notes and sample papers to get an idea of how
questions will be framed. If our concepts are clear no one can stop us from acing these tests. And for the finale, to max out our results, we should focus during the exam, avoid silly mistakes, manage time well. Last but not least, while doing revision, switch on our brain to see if we made any mistakes or missed out any questions to avoid losing marks.
Be calm, and write the exam smoothly and steadily with a good nights rest before that! Believe in yourself, Trust your abilities, and don't let the pressure of exams get the best of you. You can do this!
