I am a PhD candidate in Algorithms Combinatorics and Optimization (ACO) at Georgia Institute of Technology with home unit in ISyE. My current research interest are in Non-Convex Optimization for Machine Learning from both complexity and algorithmic point of view.
I finished my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, IIT Bombay with honors in IEOR and minor in Statistics. Before joining as a full time PhD student at Georgia Tech, I worked as a High Frequency Trader at a Proprietary Trading firm in Amsterdam. After a year of work in trading, I decided to join PhD with intent to learn mathematics behind machine learning.
