We live in the digital era and spend in average 3 hours a day surfing social media and online news. If that was not enough, COVID-19 created a seismic shock in the use of digital channels and e-commerce, and accelerated the digital transformation of traditional and small businesses. In this unprecedented time it is not enough to just continue following the trend.
Like never before, now it is vitally important to ride this wave and start using social media to promote your business, showcase your artwork, or support a social cause.
If your job was affected by massive lay-offs and you need a boost of your digital skills to pivot into a new field - this is the chance to learn digital marketing skills in an a collaborative environment of Berkeley City College, in a small group led by industry professionals, while working on your own project.

Social Media Marketing and Analytics
class dates September 7 - December 17, 2021
This class is a practical detailed guide to building a social media presence on the most important social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn. You will learn the fundamentals of marketing strategy, content creation, marketing analytics and automation, and build your own social media ecosystem for your business or social project.
Storytelling in Social Media
class will be offered in February 2022
This class is your next step to the world of storytelling in social media with a focus on video marketing. You will learn the fundamentals of crafting a compelling story, writing engaging copies, designing and editing videos for distribution in different social media formats. We offer you free access to professional software needed to build your own marketing project.
Classes are limited to 30 participants and offered once a year only
