Overview
The Illusion of Space is the technique of creating depth in a flat picture plane. There are five aspects that can be used to create this illusion: hue, saturation, object contrast, scene contrast and line weight. Warm hues, high saturation, high object and scene contrast and bold line weight bring an object forward, while coll hues, low saturation, low object and scene contrast, and narrow line weight will push an object back in space.
