This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Surgio Killa ("we", "our", or "developer") collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users ("User" or "you") of the Digital Compass mobile application (Package Name: com.compass.direction) available on Google Play.
Digital Compass is committed to protecting your privacy. The app requires certain device sensors and permissions solely to provide its core compass and navigational capabilities:
Location Data (Precise and Approximate Location):
Permissions: ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION.
Purpose: Used in real-time strictly on your device to determine your geographical coordinates (Latitude, Longitude), Altitude, and calculate magnetic declination (True North vs. Magnetic North).
Storage: We do not transmit, log, or store your location data on any external server or backend.
Device Sensors (Compass & Accelerometer):
The app accesses the device's hardware magnetometer (compass) and accelerometer/gyroscope to determine device orientation, magnetic field intensity, and bubble level angle. This sensor processing is performed purely locally in real-time.
The application may display advertisements or utilize third-party SDKs to ensure stable operations and analytics. These third-party services may automatically collect non-personal device information (e.g., Advertising ID, device model, operating system version, crash diagnostics):
Google Play Services: Core app platform support and licensing. (Privacy Policy)
Google AdMob: Serves advertisements to support free access to the app. AdMob may use device advertising identifiers to display personalized or non-personalized ads in accordance with Google's policies. (AdMob Privacy Policy)
