1) Digital Literacy is the ability to use information and communication technologies to find, evaluate, create, and communicate information, requiring both cognitive and technical skills.
2) One byte = grouping of 8 bits, e.g. 0 1 0 1 1 0 1 0
One byte can store one letter, e.g. 'A' or 'x'
3) The Internet has one very simple job: to move computerized information (known as data) from one place to another. That's it! The machines that make up the Internet treat all the information they handle in exactly the same way. In this respect, the Internet works a bit like the postal service. Letters are simply passed from one place to another, no matter who they are from or what messages they contain
4) A spider is a program that visits Web sites and reads their pages and other information in order to create entries for a search engine index. The major search engines on the Web all have such a program, which is also known as a "crawler" or a "bot.
5) Ask, Acquire, Analyze, Apply and Assess.
6) define, discover, dream, design, deliver and debrief.
