ERASMUS+ Project: Using Gamification to Teach English to Students with Disabilities is founded by Europe Union (KA220-SCH - Cooperation partnerships in school education).
Disabilities and students with disabilities are a fact of life. Disabilities affect almost ten percent of the global population. There is also a 14 percent prevalence of students with disabilities in schools. This ratio can be as high as 16.7 percent in some cases. Despite this, educational policies and daily routines are tailored to meet the needs of the vast majority of students. It's impossible to set up a separate classroom for every disabled student, and the problem is exacerbated when you consider the wide range of disabilities, including deafness, blindness, mental illness, autism, and so on. They and nearly all other educational institutions are looking for a way to overcome the barriers faced by Disabled students. It is our belief that digitization is the best way to overcome these challenges. That's why we decided to focus on the "Digi-Eng" project. It's an innovative project because it doesn't just target one type of disability. The project's output will include a variety of practices for a variety of disabilities. It's also important to note that this isn't just a research endeavor. Many universities and government agencies are conducting some research and dealing with statistical data, but they are not doing much else. All of these organizations will be brought together under one roof. We will be able to put all of the project’s outcomes into practice in the real world. We are going to produce all of our materials in six different languages to give them
a truly unique value (including OER and mobile apps as well as other presentations, documents, and so on).
