Diederik van Engelenburg
Currently, I have a postdoc position at the University of Lyon 1 in the group of Christophe Garban. I obtained my PhD in 2023 at the University of Vienna, supervised jointly by Nathanaël Berestycki and Marcin Lis. Before, I did my Masters at the University of Amsterdam (supervised by Rob van den Berg).
I am interested in many aspects of mathematics, mostly related to statistical mechanics and probability theory. My research includes: random walks and the geometry of random (planar) maps, uniform spanning trees, height functions, spin systems and percolation theory.
