Dr. Dibyajyoti Ghosh

Dibyajyoti finished his Bachelor's in Science (Chemistry Hons.) from Dept. of Chemistry, Visva Bharati University, Shantiniketan, West Bengal in 2009. Then he joined JNCASR, Bangalore as an Integrated Ph.D. student in the Chemistry and Physics of Materials Unit. He completed his Master's in Science degree in 2012 and joined the Theoretical Sciences Unit of the same institute to undertake his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Swapan K Pati. He completed his Ph.D. in 2016 and moved to the Dept. of Physics and Chemistry, University of Bath, UK as a post-doctoral research associate for 2 years. He worked with Prof. Saiful Islam and Prof. Alison Walker there. Following that, from November 2018 to July 2021, Dibyajyoti was a research associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory, USA. His mentors were Dr. Sergei Tretiak and Dr. Amanda Neukirch. He joined the IIT Delhi as an assistant professor in July 2021. Outside of research, Dibyajyoti enjoys hiking, playing football, and traveling.

Mr. Kushal Samanta
Kushal completed his MSc degree in physics from IIT(ISM) Dhanbad in 2021. He has joined the group in December 2021. Kushal plays flute and likes to draw.

Pabitra finished graduation from OUAT, Bhubaneshwar, and post-graduation from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. He joined the group in December 2021. Apart from research, he likes to play badminton and loves traveling.

Ankita completed her graduation from Miranda House, University of Delhi, and her master's in chemistry from IIT Roorkee. She has joined the group in December 2022. She enjoys trekking and loves to dance in her free time.

Nikhil finished graduation from IGU, Haryana and post-graduation from IIT Jodhpur. He joined the group in July 2023. Apart from research, he enjoys playing cricket and tinkering around with computers and other tech.

Mr. Gourab Sarkar
Gourab completed B.Sc. (Physics) from St Xavier's College, Kolkata and M.Sc. (Physics) from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata. He joined our group in April 2023 for his M.Tech. project. Other than research he enjoys reading fictions.

Baibhav is pursuing an M.Sc. in Chemistry, and he joined the CDFM group for his M.Sc. project in July 2023. He has a knack for photography and painting.

Ms. Priyanka Deswal
Priyanka joined the CDFM group as M.Tech student and did one year project. She completed her M.Tech in solid-state materials at Department of Physics in June 2023. She likes traveling and playing badminton.
Priyanka is Joining Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, for her graduate studies.

Ms. Divya Dahiya
Divya joined the CDFM group for her M.Sc. project in August 2022 and continued for one year. She completed her M.Sc. at Department of Chemistry in June 2023. She likes drawing, listening music, and playing badminton.
Divya has joined Denmark Technological University for her graduate studies.

Ms. Sarika Singh
Sarika joined the CDFM group for her M.Sc. project, which lasted one year. She completed her M.Sc. at Department of Chemistry in June 2023. Her interests mostly fluctuate between anime and reading non-fiction novels.
Sarika is currently working as BD and Growth Lead at Buildoor Labs, London.
