Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Dairy Farm Connect mobile application (“Application”), provided by NextGen Tech Applications (“Service Provider”).
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
The Application may collect your email address and authentication identifiers when you sign in.
Business Information
Information entered by users may include:
• Business and farm details
• Cattle and milk-production records
• Customer names, phone numbers, and addresses
• Shop and farm sales
• Billing and payment records
• Expenses and activity records
• User roles and business membership
Financial SMS Information
The optional Merchant Setup feature uses android.permission.READ_SMS.
When a Super Admin grants permission, the Application accesses SMS messages to identify bank-credit notifications and merchant payments. It may process:
• Merchant name
• SMS sender ID
• Masked credited-account information contained in the message
• Transaction amount and currency
• Transaction date
• Bank name
• Transaction reference number
The initial scan reviews recent messages to discover payment merchants. After the user selects a merchant, matching financial messages may be processed for historical and ongoing revenue reporting.
Full SMS message content is not stored in the Application’s database or uploaded to the cloud. A redacted sample may be displayed temporarily during merchant setup. Parsed transaction details and merchant mappings may be synchronized through Firebase so authorized members of the same business can access revenue information.
SMS information is used only for merchant-payment identification and Shop or Farm revenue reporting. It is not used for advertising, marketing, contact profiling, or unrelated purposes.
SMS permission is optional and can be revoked at any time through Android system settings.
2. How We Use Information
Information is used to:
• Provide farm and business-management features
• Synchronize records between authorized devices
• Calculate production, sales, revenue, expenses, and billing summaries
• Manage users and access permissions
• Identify merchant credits from financial SMS messages
• Maintain security, reliability, and data integrity
• Provide application updates and support
3. Data Sharing
The Service Provider does not sell personal information or SMS-derived information.
Information may be shared only with:
• Authorized users belonging to the same business
• Firebase and Google service providers used for authentication, cloud storage, synchronization, and application updates
• Government or legal authorities when required by law
• Service providers acting on our behalf and subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations
SMS-derived information is not shared for advertising or marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
The Application uses third-party services that may process limited technical or account information according to their own privacy policies:
• Google Play Services
• Firebase Authentication
• Google Cloud Firestore
• Google Play In-App Updates

5. Data Storage and Synchronization
Application data may be stored locally on the device and synchronized with Google Firebase services.
Cloud synchronization allows authorized Admin and Manager devices belonging to the same business to access consistent business records. Access is controlled using authentication and role-based permissions.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Information is retained while it is required to provide the Application’s functionality or while the associated business remains active.
Users may delete supported records or business data through the Application. Users may also request deletion of their information by contacting:

Deletion requests will be processed within a reasonable period, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, and backup-retention requirements.
7. Data Security
The Service Provider uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. Data transmitted to Firebase uses secure network connections, and access is restricted through authentication and authorization rules.
No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Application is not directed toward children under 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If such information is discovered, it will be deleted. Parents or guardians may contact the Service Provider using the email address below.
9. User Choices
Users can:
• Decline or revoke SMS permission
• Manage authorized business users
• Delete supported records
• Stop cloud synchronization by discontinuing use
• Uninstall the Application
• Request deletion of personal information
Revoking SMS permission disables automatic merchant-payment scanning but does not prevent use of other farm-management features.
10. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Application features, legal requirements, or data practices change.
The latest version will be published on the Application’s privacy-policy page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
