February 14 a Dialogue with members of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) and learned about his 300 year-old movement emphasizing direct, personal experience of God (the "Inner Light"). Quakers lean toward pacifism, social equality, plain living, with meeting held in silence. Women have held equal, leading roles since the movement's inception. Guests included Paul Pratt and Allison Ellsworth with Red Cedar Friends. More on their local chapter at https://redcedarfriends.org
In January we welcomed Tizzy Hyatt who spoke of her experiences as
an Ordained Priestess of the Goddess for 23 years
her Degree program in Goddess Spirituality
a Professional Spiritual Counselor and Women's Empowerment Coach for 18 years
a Leader of Women's Singing Circles for 10 years
She was recently drawn to Lansing to open a Goddess Temple for Women. More at
