Welcome to my webpage!
I am an academic at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia. Despite nearly two decades of service, bureaucratic hurdles have kept me at the rank of assistant professor for almost 10 years. I have begun considering alternative career paths—still within research—as my university keeps shattering my hopes for academic promotion and career progression.
My research explores the drivers of women’s economic participation and welfare in Indonesia, with a focus on marriage and childbearing, unpaid care work, gender norms, workplace policies, social protection, and violence against women.
I teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Population Economics, Labour Economics, and the Economics of Gender, bringing multidisciplinary perspectives to help students connect economic theory with social realities.
