I am a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Michael Schaub's team at RWTH Aachen University. I did my Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, under the supervision of Dr. Sivananthan Sampath.

Research area

The broad area of my research is Mathematical Sampling Theory. A signal represents information about certain phenomena, such as temperature, sound, voltage, and electromagnetic waves. In order to transmit or store a continuous signal, it is converted to a digital signal. The sampling problem wishes to discretize a continuous signal and recover it uniquely and stably from its discrete samples without losing information. I am working on the random sampling problem in the reproducing kernel function spaces. The problem of random sampling addresses estimating the probability of the function being stably recovered from their random samples.
