About me
Hi! Welcome to my webpage. I'm Dheeraj, a graduate student pursuing MASc SYDE under Prof. John Zelek. I'm working in the Vision and Image Processing Lab ( VIP LAb) on the detection and tracking of moving parts in the automation industry and detecting faults in them. Before coming to the University of Waterloo, I enjoyed my time working at a startup called LENS Corporation where I mostly worked on the deployment of Deep Learning methods for fingerprint matching.
I have 2 years of work experience in the field of Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and a bit of Robotics, especially in Autonomous Vehicles where my work was focused on sensor fusion and calibration. I like the idea of combining AI and Robotics and creating real-world applications.
I regularly update anything new that happens in my life and my website also consists of a few projects and experiences that I have had.

April 2024: Our paper "POPCat: Propagation of particles for complex annotation tasks" got accepted the Conference of Robots and Vision (CRV) 2024.
January 2023: Changed my program at the University of Waterloo to Master of Applied Science in System Design Engineering (MASc SYDE) under Prof. John Zelek.
September 2022: Will be starting graduate studies at the University of Waterloo, Canada in the Master of Engineering (MEng) ECE program.
February 2022: Joined LENS AI as a Computer Vision Research Engineer.
December 2020: HAMS-based License Testing at Aurangabad, Bihar (the commentary is in Hindi, but HAMS is spelled out at 1:26 and 2:07 in the video)
November 2020: Our work at IIITD entitled "Recipedb: A resource for exploring recipes" got published in Database Journal.
October 2020: Joined IIIT Delhi as Research Assistant under Dr. Saket Anand and Dr. Sanjit Kaul.
