DhanPath respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles user data.

1. Data Collection

DhanPath does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to any external servers.

All processing happens entirely on the user’s device.

2. SMS Permission Usage

DhanPath requests READ_SMS permission solely to detect and extract financial transaction messages such as bank debit and credit alerts.

• SMS access is read-only.

• The app cannot send, modify, or delete messages.

• SMS parsing occurs entirely on-device.

• Only transaction-related data (amount, sender, date) is extracted.

• Full SMS content is not uploaded or shared.

3. Data Storage

• All data is stored locally in a SQLite database.

• Data is protected by Android’s app sandbox.

• No cloud servers are used.

• Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all data.

• Users may delete individual transactions anytime.

• Users can export data before uninstalling.

4. No Third-Party Services

DhanPath does not use:

• Cloud APIs

• External servers

• Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)

• Crash reporting services

• Social media SDKs

• Advertising networks

• Payment processors

5. Document Vault Security

• Protected by PIN authentication

• PIN secured using SHA-256 hashing

• Files stored in the app’s private directory

• Not accessible to other apps

6. Children’s Privacy

DhanPath is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Open Source

DhanPath is open source. Users may review the source code to verify privacy claims.
