Incongruous- not in harmony or keeping with the surroundings or other aspects of something. Is there something fundamentally not in harmony about a lesbian, feminist choir group Amasong picking up a choir format of a thillana arranged by a world famous vainika? I am the main dancer there and I didnt find it incongruous to dance in praise of Vishnu if the church is OK with hosting it. It is a place with good acoustics :)

Also relative to Krishna who was dark, everyone was referred to as gori colloquially. But they were all pretty much from the Indian subcontinent, even if in the writers imagination. I doubt anyone literally interprets the gopikas of brindavan to be Caucasians. Great to see Indians interpret Indian languages into literal absurdity. Hopefully you can clarify that you meant it tongue in cheek.
