The Reading Games is a free and fun reading competition for District 58 & 61 students in grades 3-8.
The next Reading Games will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
The Reading Games provides an opportunity to increase the quantity of books that our children read in a friendly but competitive tournament.
The Reading Games exposes kids to different genres, series, authors, or topics that they may not choose for themselves.
In addition, The Reading Games facilitates friends coming together to discuss books while working as a team.
The “WIN” is getting our children to read more and to enjoy reading!
