The Digital Forensics & Security Laboratory (DFSL), led by Professor Jiho Shin at Mokwon University, conducts research in digital forensics with an expanding focus on cyber security.
The laboratory focuses on system-level analysis of digital data from databases, memory, file systems, and cloud platforms, with particular emphasis on data recovery and the structural interpretation of digital evidence.
Our goal is to develop reliable forensic analysis and digital evidence validation techniques that support cybercrime investigations while contributing to broader cyber security applications.
