I am a Professor (Full) of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the  University of Houston - Downtown (UHD).  Before joining UHD, I  was a faculty member at Louisiana Tech University for 10 years. I earned my M.Sc. in Statistics from the University of Alberta in 2003 and my Ph.D. in Statistics from Case Western Reserve University in 2007. In my free time, I  play tennis or basketball for fun.
