Confirmed
Confirmed
Hello Everyone,
Last Sunday I was confirmed! I was supposed to get confirmed at my school, but I really wanted to get confirmed by my dad at his church. It was a very old fashioned, formal service with robes.
I'm not going to be on vacation for a while so you can expect more blogs. Next weeks blog, I am looking forward to, so stay tuned for it. I might post it a little early if I get too excited.
I am currently working on a devotion that's called don't be sad. I can't share all of it, but it basically says it's okay to be sad when someone dies or something bad happens but when life is going good, don't let sadness become a trait. You don't want someone to go around a circle describing other's as nice, funny, smart, caring, and get to you and say sad or gloomy. Often as Christians we water down Jesus's death and talk about it so casually it almost isn't important. We need to show joy. When non-believers look at us, we want to radiate joy so they can tell something is different about us. If we are a group of sad people other's will look at us and think why are they so sad if they believe in a God that they claims loves them unconditionally and would do anything for them. If you are a Christian and you don't feel that joy, you feel depressed all the time for no reason, you might need to get help.
I can't wait to talk to you soon,
Abigail Sandison
