Writer's Flock
Writer's Flock
Hello everyone,
I currently have the opposite of writer's block. I have something I like to call writer's flock. I was thinking of calling it writer's shock but I decided writer's shock is when a writer is shocked out of writing, the complete opposite of Writer's flock. Writer's flock is when your ideas, motivation, and list of what you need write just keeps on growing. The ideas are coming in in big groups almost like feeding a pigeon, every time you turn around more are flocking towards you.
Anyways, after going to Bold Conference a few weeks ago I have a list of devotions to write and the ideas keep on coming. The hardest part, surprisingly, isn't writing the devotions it's creating the drawings for the devotion, coming up with talk & discus topics, and most importantly setting apart enough time. These past couple days have been very productive. I even created a QR code for my later books. These QR codes will take reader's to a secret page on my website with behind the scenes, instructions for the book, and videos. It sounds like I got a lot done but I still have five or so devotions to type up and lets not forget all the drawings I need to do. Five devotions with four drawings each equals twenty, twenty drawings. I really want to share them with you but I worried about copyright.
I know my voice in this blog sounds very stressed out but don't worry, I'm not. This morning I woke up at eight and got to work, I feel so motivated and ready to write. I want to keep writing this blog and go into depth about my writing, but I really need to stop writing so I can get some more work (a.k.a. writing) done.
Talk to you soon,
Abigail Sandison
