Hi, I am Devansh Pandey. I am a third year Cell and Molecular Biology (Computational Biology and Bioinformatics track) PhD candidate in the Interdisciplinary Life Sciences Graduate Program at the University of Texas at Austin. I am fourtunate to be advised by Dr. Vagheesh Narasimhan.

I was born and brought up India, where I earned my B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering at IIT Kharagpur.
In Fall 2021, I moved to Austin and have since been engaged in combining human genetics, evolution, and deep learning in my work.
My research aims to craft multimodal disease prediction models that utilize medical imaging, health records, phenotypic data, and genetic data. Additionally, I work on DNA language models.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing badminton, strolling around Lake Austin, reading science fiction, and diving into anime during my downtime.
