The core developer utilities in Dev Toolbox are designed to work fully offline. Any data you input into these tools is processed locally on your device and is **never uploaded, transmitted, stored on our servers, or shared with any third party**:
- **JSON Formatter** – JSON data you paste or format is processed and displayed locally.
- **JWT Decoder** – Tokens you decode are parsed entirely on-device; token contents are never transmitted anywhere.
- **Base64 / URL / Hex Encoder-Decoder** – All conversions happen locally.
- **Regex Tester** – Patterns and test strings are evaluated on-device.
- **Color Converter & WCAG Contrast Checker** – All calculations happen locally.
- **Snippet Manager** – Snippets you save, tag, and search are stored locally in the app's on-device database (Room FTS4) and are never uploaded.
- **Device Diagnostics** – Hardware specs and system health information are read from your device and displayed to you only; this information is not transmitted to us.
- **Biometric App Lock** – If enabled, biometric authentication (fingerprint/face) is handled entirely by your device's operating system. We do not collect, see, or store your biometric data.

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:

Locally stored data (snippets, tags, preferences) is used solely to operate the app's core features and is never transmitted off your device.

## 4. Data Security
Your code snippets, JSON payloads, JWT tokens, and other tool inputs never leave your device, eliminating the risk of exposure through transmission or server storage. Locally stored data resides in your device's app-specific storage, which is sandboxed by the Android operating system and inaccessible to other apps. If you enable biometric app lock, access to the app is additionally protected by your device's native biometric authentication.
Data handled by our third-party service providers (Google AdMob, Firebase) is protected according to Google's industry-standard security practices.
## 5. Children's Privacy
Dev Toolbox is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons.
