Whitney Smith (she/her)

Whitney Imani is a Detroit native, mother, and passionate sustainability and housing advocate. Following her passions for public health, housing, and environmental justice, Whitney pursued opportunities in sustainability and supportive services. Currently, Whitney is a Special Projects Manager in the City of Detroit’s Housing and Revitalization Department. Additionally, she enjoys maintaining her cut flower garden, learning about Afro-ethnobotanical histories and practices, and spending time outdoors with her son.
