Q: What is something you love about where you live?
A: My favorite thing about Detroit are the people. Detroiters have a spirit and energy that I have not experienced anywhere else. I have had the pleasure of working with a number of communities in Detroit, and I am always blown away by people’s passion and love for their community. Growing up in Canton, there was not that sense of unity and working towards a common goal that brings people together to form meaningful relationships.
