Doctor | Honor Community Health (Oakland Integrated Healthcare Network)

Jason Ramos is a family physician, a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Program Director of the newly started Family Medicine Residency at Honor Community Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Pontiac. He loves helping patients, the underserved community of Pontiac and those like it, and advocating for healthcare equity for LGBTQIA2S+ and other minoritized patients. He has spent the majority of his career at FQHCs - non-profit community health centers - gaining experience in community and patient outreach, teaching the next generation of family physicians, and promoting DEI initiatives. While caring for patients and working with residents are his primary job functions by day, Jason also loves his Pistons and Wolverines, and enjoys traveling, helping environmental causes, reading, playing basketball, and spending time with loved ones.
